This post today is different and something close to my heart. Today we look inside, into the work we’ve done and the people we have. I’ve always been proud of the work we’ve done in building the apps, and the amazing reviews we get from you all when you use the app.

What was the most challenging aspect of developing mobile app?

Getting users into the habit of yoga is challenging. It’s easy to try it for a day or two and not stick to a routine, but yoga is most effective if you perform it regularly almost like a daily ritual. The design of the app to make this happen was the most challenging part. We have daily goals, badges, reminders, and users earn Kriya points as they perform more classes and progress through the app. Getting all this together and making users stick to a routine was the toughest part of the app.

What need of the user did you have in mind when developing this app?

Give users a personalized experience, and get them into the Habit of yoga. Actually show results and solve their problem with regular yoga practice. All yoga classes are tailored by our expert yoga team. They serve specific needs, whether users would like to lose weight, gain flexibility, fight depression or get a great workout. You can also choose from our huge catalog of freestyle yoga classes based on what your body needs on a day-to-day basis.

In what way do you think your app is better than similar apps on the market? Please describe in detail what innovation you think you bring and what you are proud of in your app.

There are so many things I love about Track yoga.
The first thing is gamification. It’s the only yoga app out there that does that. Performing yoga and classes with the app is fun! As you perform yoga in the app, you earn Kriya points for free and using these kriya points you can unlock any other classes/programs in the app for free. Our users LOVE it! Just read the reviews and check out how most of the users use the entire app for free. And while doing this, they get into the habit of regularly practicing yoga. It just works!
The second thing is the personalization. We have programs and classes curated exactly for the user’s needs. Some people have specific goals in mind like – lose weight, gain flexibility, fight depression, stress relief or get a great workout. The app clearly guides them in the right direction to achieve their goals.
